How Do I remove Header Code Inserted by Plugin?

Hi,

I use x theme (ethos).
I used Insert header & footer plugin, as recommended, to add my Google auto ads snippet to the header.
I have deactivated the plugin and I have tried clearing the plugin and saving but ads are still appearing.

Is there a simple way to remove code that was added by the plugin?

Hi Stuart,

Thank you for writing in, if you have deactivated the Insert header & footer plugin then those Google ads code should remove to your site as well.

Please clear all your caching features (plugin, server-side, CDN, and browser’s cache) one more time.

If there a chance you added the Google ads code somewhere besides in insert header & footer plugin? Maybe you have added an ads code on your content as well?
