How do I re-create this SVG background effect?

Hi guys, First of all let me say thank you for all the amazing support I truly grateful for all of your help… On with the question of today:

So I saw this SVG background used on the crowdrise home page in the https://cdncustom.crowdrise.com/homepage/Union.svg and it spans across several sections…

First of all I tried to see how to add the SVG to the background of my website (the exact same SVG they used just to try to replicate the effect) and I couldn’t figure out (even after doing some searching and reading) exactly how to add an SVG background or image or even a logo to my website…

Then I re-created the shape in Photoshop as a JPEG image and uploaded it to my site, I played around with the size/position settings to try to achieve the effect but if you go to my homepage… EasyStartUp.net you will see that it’s very blurry, barely visible and not sharp at all like on crowdrise… If you guys could help me to understand how to achieve these background effects that sweep across multiple sections down the page and scale so sharply I would be really grateful…

For the purposes of helping me understand this we can use the SVG from the link I provided. Thank you again.
