How do I make each page transparent, so when I add a patterned background it shows through and the text looks like it is sitting on top of the pattern?

This is something I have been trying to do, but without success )-:

Is it possible make all pages transparent, so when a patterned background is added it shows through and any text, on the page, looks like it is sitting on top of the pattern?

Hi There,

Please try adding the following CSS under Customizer > Custom > Global CSS:

div#top {
    background-color: transparent;
}

If it doesn’t work, please provide us with your website URL so we can take a closer look.

Hi there,

I would like to make the actual page transparent - the white area that the text sits on so the background image can be seen!

I am building another website for a friend and would like to do the above once more. I have followed your directions from before and they don’t seem to work for this website.

Maybe things have moved on since the first time I did this.

Please help.
