How do I get Woocommerce working on this theme?

Hi there,

I have installed x theme with crafty template. I have personalised the site and would now like to sell things, but the woocommerce cart button keeps going back to the main page and doesn’t direct to purchase options page. How do I do this?

Hey Heike,

It sounds like you haven’t assigned a Cart page in WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced > Page Setup.

If you have set the Cart page, it’s possible that a 3rd party plugin or a custom code is causing the redirect. We also need to know if the problem is related to our theme and not WooCommerce alone. Because of that, please do the following troubleshooting steps.

  1. Testing For Theme Related Issue
  2. Testing For Plugin Conflict
  3. Child Theme
  4. Permalinks

Regarding the selling part, you need to learn everything about WooCommerce. You can learn from their documentation here https://docs.woocommerce.com/documentation/plugins/woocommerce/

Please note that we do not provide support for WooCommerce except for the parts connected to our themes and builders like the templates our themes override and our builders’ WooCommerce elements.

Only if none of the troubleshooting steps help, please give us the following information in a Secure Note.

  • WordPress Login URL
  • Admin level username and password

Hi @christian - I tried following the guide and it went all well except woocommerce has taken over my homepage that I set up - how do I restore my crafty theme home page that I had set up??
