How do I control the appearance of item in grid/list by category or label?

I need to highlight an action in a grid or list that is categorized. Html, however, does not contain a class according to which this could be done. How to solve?

Like here (news), I need to change the look of the event according to the category. The class in the parent

of the element is ideal.

Hi @northhub,

There is no option to set the class to each event based on the category through the shortcode. If the output of the shortcode adds any class to each event be the default, then it is possible to add any custom CSS code. It seems that it would require some customization and that is beyond the scope of Theme Support. I would suggest you hire a developer who can assist you to do the customization or you can avail of our newly launched service called One, where we answer the questions beyond normal theme support.
