How do I add HTML to a blog post?

I want to add HTML to a blog post to create a banner ad. I’ve tried adding the HTML but it shows up as code when I post. What should I do?

Add code in a Raw Content Element or Content Area Element

If still not working, please share us the html code that you want to add so we could see why it is not working.
