How do I add '<' and '>' bars to ethos post slider?

Heya. Using Ethos. Want to add ‘<’ and ‘>’ to allow users to click and move the featured post slider at the top to the right or left. to scroll through posts. I know it can be done I’ve done it before. Yet don’t remember quite how. Help?
