How can I make a site like this layout?

What would be the best resources and steps to use to go about making a page like this. Not sure what this kind of layout is called if it has a name.

Hi Joe,

Thank you for writing in, yes that is possible, that is a standard 2 and 3 columns layout with beautiful gradients background.

This type of section divider

This is a two-column row with an image on the left column and text on the right (and vice versa)

Please watch the following tutorials, it might give you an idea or two.
