How can I keep a post fixed in the Carousel in ethos 1 template

I am looking to keep a specific post in a fixed location on the post carousel on Ethos 1 template. All the others can change as new posts are added, but I need to keep the first post fixed regardless of any new posts.

Thanks for writing in! Regarding the ordering of the carousel, that is technically possible however, that would need custom development which is outside the scope of our support. You may try contacting a developer to implement such additional feature.
