How can I edit DRAFT pages in Cornerstone?

Hi there,

If I go to pages, I can click on any draft and proceed to edit it in cornerstone.

However, when inside of Cornerstone, when I click on CONTENT, & try to pull up any draft page, they do not show at all. It only shows the pages that are set to published…?

It takes forever to click out of cornerstone, click pages in the sidebar, click through my many pages of pages, find the one i need, then click edit with cornerstone. And to do that every time.

Is there a way to get DRAFT pages to load in the Cornerstone Content section…?

When I go to X > Settings: I have “posts” & “pages” allowed in the content builder, but drafts is not an option…?

Hello There,

Thanks for writing in!

Only published and “privately published” posts and pages can be displayed in Cornerstone’s content section. A draft post/page contains incomplete post meta and that includes Cornerstone data which is not present in the draft pages. This is why you will need to get the post/page published (private published) so that it will be in the list of pages/posts in Cornerstone Content section.

Ok so that didn’t work either.

I’ve got them set to private published and they are still not showing up in the Cornerstone Content section…?

I think there is some confusion here. Privately published post/pages as of now won’t appear in Cornerstone content builder section. I will report this into our issue tracker for our developers to take a look.

ok no worries.

ya it would be great if they could get private or even drafts to show there. if you can go into it through the pages section you should be able to go into it through the Cornerstone Content section as well.

thanks for your help. Is this being submitted as a bug needing fixed & therefor you will update me when it is fixed? or is this being submitted as an idea that may or may not change?
