How can i edit CSS on my x theme

I am trying to edit css file of my x theme, i found it here:
x/framework/legacy/cranium/css/dist/site/integrity-light.css
I have already installed X child, now i want to edit it and i don1t want my site to crush after any updates, so please tell me do i need to copy it on my x child directory and edit it there?
and specifically which directory should i copy it to?

Hi,

We don’t recommend editing the theme core files as it will get overwritten on updates and that is also considered as bad practice.

Instead you can add all your Custom CSS in Theme Options > CSS(global css) and that will override the theme’s default css.
