How can I change the width of the dropdown menus in Pro Header?

Before we moved our header to Pro Custom Header we liked the way the dropdown menus looked. How can I get it to display on one line the way it used to ? This is the way we want it !

This is the way the custom header displays the dropdowns.

Hello @kcostellomak,

Thanks for posting in!

To change the width of the dropdown menus, please edit your custom header and in your navigation inline element settings, find the “Menu > Dropdown” where you can adjust the width of the dropdown menu.

Kindly let us know how it goes.

Thank you that helped. But now the flyout tertiary menus go too far to the right. And there is too much white space on the pull down menus with shorter names.

Is there a way to have it only go as far as the text on the longest line of the dropdown? AND is there a way to give an x-offset to the flyout menus?

Thanks!

One more issue. On the collapsed dropdown the top level items that have menu items below do not act as links. The click event opens and closes the sub menu. Is there a way to bring back the mouseover hover event and have the click open the link? I told my client I didn’t think this was possible to hover on a mobile device but he swears it use to function that way before we switched to a custom Pro Header.

Hi @kcostellomak,

You can set the width to auto, but it will take the width of its parent menu. You can also control the offset of the dropdown menu, by adjusting the margins of the First Dropdown option.

I have visited your site which listed in your Themeco Account, and unable to recognized the issue you have described in your last post. Can you please provide any screenshot marked with the issue or any video that helps us to recognize the problem?

Thanks
