How would I go about backing up everything such that if I made a new website, installed the X theme, I could just upload this backup and. everything would be back to as it was.
I tried exporting in the “Theme Options Manager” and downloaded a xcs.json file. Is that the kind of backup I want? If not, how could I go about making that kind of backup?

Thank you for writing in, some hosting offers a backup services on entire site, contact your hosting if they do.
If they don’t you can do the manual background see WordPress Backups documentation.
You can also use a backup plugins.
