How best to display my client's podcast

Hi guys,

My client has a podcast and so far I’ve built the following podcast page for them: https://modernwisdomlife.com/podcast/

The client wants something that includes an image and looks much better. I’m not too sure what Xtheme/Cornerstone can add functionality wise.

I like the look of this page: https://samharris.org/podcast/

I’m not too sure how to achieve this. Does anyone have any insight into how to do it? It looks like I just need to add a feature that allows me to display blog posts etc, but really at a loss how to do it.

It’s post type, you could try something like Essential Grid or The Grid to display your podcast listing/index page. Though, it would need complex customization if what you’re trying to achieve something on your ideal page. I recommend contact a developer for creating a custom index page for your podcast listing.

Just passed on your information to the client. If they’re unwilling to purchase an additional plugin, is there a way of doing it on my own? I see some themes have blog posts displaying a similar grid. Are they all using the above plugins?

You could always create your own plugin, though, we can’t provide any information or cover it here in the forum. They are mostly using customized plugins (a base plugin).
