Homepage Default layout

I have my homepage Layout Assignment to Single - Default
Page Template is Blank no container header and footer.
The page is displaying Back to the blog text, which should not be there.
Also, all the text on the page is now aligned to the left. It was not when I made it!
I am unable to find how to change the default single page and align the text correctly.
Any sugesstions please?

Thanks for writing to us.

Please note that you don’t need to create a layout for the page in case you have created a custom layout for the page. You need to go to the layout—>settings —>condition and unassign it. If it doesn’t work for you, please share your details in a secure note. Please provide the following details

• WordPress Login URL
• Admin-level username and password

You can find the Secure Note button at the bottom of your posts

Yep, single page layout assigned to pages, not posts.
