Home page not pulling

Hi there, my website is jonathanwhitecpa.com my home page is not pulling to the home page. Please help. When you type in the webpage it takes me to an error page that says this page does not exist. When you click on the Home in the menu, it takes me to the correct location. Please help.

I have updated all plugins and wordpress. I do not want to update the X theme because every time I do an update my site crashes big time! As of right now this page needs to be live. Please help.

I only have 2 problems that I am hoping to patch until I can dedicate time to this page.

1. have jonathanwhitecpa.com go to the correct page.
2. find all my pictures? Updating to the last wordpress made me loose all my pictures. The media on wordpress says I have 0 media, but my ftp files says that my pictures are there? Help.

Oh my goodness - ahhhhh - please forgive my ignorance it’s been a while since I’ve been to this website so I got the homepage thing figured out so please disregard question 1.

I do still need help with question 2. Where / Why isn’t wordpress pulling my pictures? I see them clearly on my FTP files for this website but my media shows 0 media. Please help - thanks a bunch for all your help and patience. General comment for the entire community as I am sure we are all grateful for the help!

Thanks for writing in and glad you’ve sorted out your first issue.

Regarding the image, it’s neither the theme nor WordPress causing the issue. Your images are really not available maybe because of misconfiguration in your setup. You need to contact your host or a WordPress developer to fix this.

It could also be caused by a third party plugin. Also try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

Also, just to let you know, I see errors coming from Autoptimize plugin also. It’s known to cause issues to a lot of themes and plugins. Please seek professional advice on how to use it so it won’t cause issues.
