Highlight selected Menu Items

I would like to highlight the currently selected menu item with a colored background (see attached image).

How can I do this?

Thanks for reaching out.
What you are trying to do is required custom CSS code, and that is beyond the scope of Theme Support. I would suggest you hire a developer who can assist you to do the customization or you can avail of our newly launched service called One, where we answer the questions beyond normal theme support.
