Hide row box shadow on breakpoint

Hi, I’m working on a design, where the rows display as cards on large screen as shown on screenshot 1 , the cards are white with a box shadow around it and the background section slightly off white to make the cards stand out, as the screen size shrinks I aim for the cards to blend in with the background, both the background and the card becoming white colour, like on the screenshot number 3.

The only problem I am having with the design is that, I can’t find a way to remove the row box shadow on smaller devices, I would like it to stay turned on, on wide screen devices but as the viewport shrinks I would like the box shadow to disappear as represented in screenshot number 3!

I only seem to be able to either keep it on, on all screen sizes or off completely.

. Is there any way of, turning the box shadow off on smaller screens, inherently in the theme or with CSS?

Hi @cezarzw,

Thanks for reaching out.
Sometimes the only screenshot doesn’t help us to recognize the issue you are having. We need to examine your site to determine the cause of the issue. Can you please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password
– Specific page where you are having these cards.

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

Thanks

Hi @cezarzw,

Sorry for the confusion here. The Box Shadow option does not have the Responsive Styling option. It can be a very good option in the Builder, I will check with our development team and, if possible will add it as a Feature Request for future consideration.

Thanks

Thanks for checking, I understand that this is not an straight out of the box feature but is there any way of making the box shadow disappear with CSS when the viewport shrinks lets say below 600px

Hi @cezarzw,

Unfortunately, the support related to custom CSS code is beyond the scope of Theme Support. I would suggest you hire a developer who can assist you to do the customization, or you can avail of our newly launched service called One, where we answer the questions beyond normal theme support.

Thanks
