i need to hide the place order button if there are no shipping option available or selected. See screenshot attached for reference.
This is an online business and can only allow orders to be placed if there is a shipping option available and selected - people can order without paying for shipping as things stand.

Regretfully there is no option on the plugin or theme for that at the moment, it would require custom development. I would suggest you please contact a developer who can assist you with your concerns or you can subscribe to One where customization questions are answered. Please note that we don’t provide custom development support it is out of the support scope.

Okay well we have set one of your checkout templates to the checkout page for JDT-industrial.co.za and when people order and there is no shipping option your template wont restrict the place order button which is standard woocommerce functionality which means the X Theme template is overriding the normal restrictions set by woocommerce because for example this business is an online business so in order for an order to be completed a shipping option has to be selected but the X Theme template lets them order despite there not being a shipping option available so please advise
We have resolved this issue with a 3rd party plugin for anyone in future looking into this, we used this plugin:
