How do I hide the “Members” link so visitors cannot see the directory?

Thanks for writing in! Are you referring to the “Members” link when you are using BuddyPress? To resolve your issue, please add the following CSS code in the X > Theme Options > Global CSS (http://prntscr.com/evui3r)

body:not(.logged-in) .sub-menu .menu-item-buddypress-navigation:nth-child(3) {
    display: none
}
