"hide during breakpoints" problem after updating to Pro 6.3.3

After updating to Pro 6.3.3 the “hide during breakpoints” is not working anymore.

It looks fine in the cornerstone editor:

But not fine on the live site:

(where also the mobile sections are shown, even though they should have been hidden on desktop)

It is a bit urgent since it´s our live site.

Thanks for any input.

Hi @JesperF,

Thanks for reaching out.
I have checked it in my local environment and found that the Hide During the Breakpoint option is working fine. There might be some different reasons behind your problem, I would like to suggest troubleshooting the following common issue to help us to recognize the reason.

1.Theme Related Issue
2.Plugin Conflict
3.Theme Update related issue
4.Child Theme Related issue
5.CSS/JS Customization
6.Disabling Cache
7.Disabling CDN

If you discover that an issue is coming from custom code or 3rd party plugin, kindly consult with a developer or contact the plugin author. Please note that we do not provide support for custom codes and 3rd party plugins.
If none of the above helps, please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

@tristup Thanks a lot for your quick reply. I have tried all the things you suggested and it didn’t make any difference.

Please see if you can log in and see what is wrong.

Hi @JesperF,

I have checked the page you mentioned and found the problem you described here. But I create a Test page and found that the Hide During the BreakPoint is working fine. I would suggest you use the V2 element instead of Classic Elements and check if that works for you. If not, please copy your live site to a staging server so we could troubleshoot freely without breaking your live site.
And give us access in the secure note including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

NOTE: Please make sure that you have already performed the troubleshooting steps referred to before.

Thanks

@tristup Thanks. I investigated further and found that the problem was that we had some unnecessary element CSS on two text fields. I deleted this and now everything looks fine again :tada:

Just in case others run into the same issues after updating.

Thanks again for your help.

Hi @JesperF,

Glad to know that you are able to find the reason behind it.

Thanks
