Hide during breakpoint not working correctly

Hi,

Im working on a page with two sections, one mobile and one desktop.

Everything is fine except that somewhere between 980 and 1199 both sections get hidden.

Also, using the button for changing Pro Layout size to test the views of the site on different devices works intermittent.

For example:

The Desktop version should be visible on the 1200& UP but it doesnt inside the Pro Edit page, but on another chrome window it does. I´ve tryied to check if cookies is the problem and started to work in Private mode / Incognito and still the same.

I want site to be 1200 and up for pc and rest for mobile version.

Thanks for writing in!

Please keep in mind that since you have installed a caching plugin Hummingbird Cache, please clear your plugin cache and regenerate the minified JS/CSS files before testing your site. This can cause the changes to not take place on the front end. It will eventually show up when the cache regenerates, but it’s not ideal if you’re looking to see your changes immediately. Caching plugins are best to turn on only when you’ve finished building the site.

If the issue still exist, could you please disable the caching plugin completely so that we can test your site again? If possible, please also include your WP credentials (with administrative privileges) for further investigation.

Hi Raul,

The issue I’m seeing is you’re using the Hide During Breakpoints for the row and columns, the row is set to be hidden to 980px - 1199px, then maybe you’re expecting the option Hide During Breakpoints for columns to work, it will work but will remain hidden due to the row.

If you intend to control the visibility of the entire block then make sure it’s only applied for the block (like row or section) and not to sub sections like column and other elements.

Hence, please toggle off the Hide during breakpoints from your columns, then turn off that laptop icon from the above screenshot (4th) to make sure it’s displayed on 980-1199px. Then, turn that laptop icon on from mobile rows

Hi,

Ok, I´ve done what you suggested and it worked as expected, but still having the same reaction at Pro builder.
I´ve tested the website and changed chrome width and seems to be working fine, but if I try to test using the builder tool, it looks like

and at public site looks like:

please let me know if its normal behavior, because PC is hidden like

Hi Raul,

I’ve just checked your page and I don’t see any issue with its Hide During Breakpoints. I believe your browser is zoomed in/out that is why you’re not getting the correct breakpoints view on Builder.

Make sure your browser zoom is set to 100%
