Hide Class not working in preview

Hello,

After my recent update to Pro 3.2.3, the sections with “hide” listed in the class are all showing when editting our site. Previously, adding or removing “hide” to the section’s class would toggle on and off the visibility in the preview so that we could see what the live site will look like when we save.

Thankfully the live site is still hiding things appropriately, but it’s a little confusing to edit now since we can see everything and don’t know what is currently hidden or shown.

Any thoughts on a fix? Thanks.

Thank you for writing in, please clear all your caching features (plugins, server-side, CDN, and browser’s cache) after updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.

I’ve cleared all cache but am still seeing the probelm.

I’ve noticed that this is happening just on the classic section elements. The new section elements are not having this problem. Perhaps the answer is to just update some of these old sections … which would be fine, but I’ll provide the login details in a secure note so you can check if there is something else I’m missing.

Thanks for providing the details.

I checked and I was able to replicate this issue in my local setup and this is a bug for the classic sections in the preview pane of Cornerstone.

I have added this to our issue tracker so that our developers will be aware of it.

For the meantime, if you want the classic sections to be hidden in the preview pane, try adding display: none; in the style field.
