Hidden Mobile elements showing at 479px viewpoint

Hello, I think I’ve found a bug. I have various elements hidden on tablet/mobile devices that appear hidden except at exactly 479px. While I think the likelihood of users happening upon that size to be uncommon it really makes a mess of things. Any thoughts on what might be happening here and how to resolve it? Hello @tkulow,

Thanks for writing in!

This is what I am seeing when the screen size is at 479 pixels:

Please update your Pro theme to the latest version Pro 6.8.5. Clear all you caches and test the site again.

Best Regards.

Hello Ruenel,

I did a bit of troubleshooting as it was happening on all my sites, it turns out it’s related to the Scale display settings on my laptop. I have mine a bit more zoomed out than recommended but it was happening one pixel under various breakpoints (in my case, 480, 767, 979).

At 125% I was seeing this issue at 479, 766, 978px.
At 150% I noticed it just at 479px.
At 100% I didn’t see any issues.

It’s possible that things are unhiding at random spots in between breakpoints at different Scales but I’m not certain. Thanks for your help, it more or less resolved and while unlikely to be stumbled upon something that might be worth looking into.

Hey @tkulow,

I am using Brave and MS Edge browsers at 100%. The issue may have been caused by the way the browser calculates the pixels at magnification levels.

Cheers.

Hey Ruenel,

Just to clarify, these are the recommended/default scale settings for my Windows device. My browsers are all set to 100% but my device is more than 100% (to be expected of some laptops). I was able to recreate this issue in Chrome, Edge, and Firefox.
