Hey Sansar,
We’re sorry that you’re having this issue. Our dev team is currently investigating this. For now or maybe in an hour or 2, try revalidating your subfolder installs.
Thanks.
It has been 7 hours of ur msg. But it is not validating. " Your code is valid but looks like it has already been used on another site. You can revoke and re-assign within your Themeco account."
Hello Sansar,
We are still investigation why the validation is not working in some customers. By the way, login to your account info and make sure that your license code has been assign to your site url correctly.
Please make sure that the url you have added is the same as what you have in Settings > General > Site URL.
Kindly let us know how it goes.
Can I send you my credentials? Here is no option of secure note. I think the main problem is coming in subfolders site. Because my main site URL has no such problem (sansarlochan.in). Earlier same licence key was working in my subfolder websites too like sansarlochan.in/en and sansarlochan.in/jobs ( Actually license is still working successfully in of the subfolder)…But I am getting problem in sansarlochan.in/en
Hi!I am having a similar problem in my multisite setup. I moved all my sites using Themeco Pro to a new server with a new main network domain with a new IP. I’ve tried revoking several times with no luck.
Hey Sansar and Justin,
We’re very sorry about this issue. We are still currently investigating the subfolder validation problem.
Sansar, the Secure Note feature is still at the bottom of each of your reply like the following screenshot.
Thanks.
Hi @sansarlochan,
I can help clarify on this issue. Regretfully, we won’t be able to validate multiple WordPress installations with the same license code moving forward - even if they are on the same domain. It can be inferred from the ThemeForest Regular license that one purchase code can be used for multiple installations that are part of one site, but our validation system doesn’t have a way to determine the purpose of each install. For example, we can’t automatically know that /jobs
isn’t an entirely different site.
Your sites are still properly licensed, but regretfully this particular use case can’t be supported by our validation system. I will add a secure note with a bit more info to share with you directly.
Can I just chime in and complain that the new license management interface is horrible? The unfold-on-hover list, the cumbersome editing… It needs some serious improvements other than that the redesign looks great
@skndal, Thanks for the feedback. It’s worth considering that we’ve only rolled our part of the design. We’re doing it in stages to help make sure things go as smoothly as possible. We’re adding a search functionality to your account which should help find items. That sidebar area will also be used to manage several other products and services that will be offered in the coming days.
I would like to ask if you wouldn’t mind clarifying. What do you mean by cumbersome editing? While the presentation is different, I believe we kept the same convention for editing information about your sites. Let me know your thoughts here when you have a moment so we can take it into consideration. Thanks!
@alexander Yeah it’s looking great so I’m very curious to see how the rest of the rollout will go
Regarding editing: the old interface was obviously very simple, but also very effective. An overview that you can directly make edits in makes managing a bunch of sites, adding new ones, decommissioning old ones, and even swapping licenses if you decide a site has to go Pro rather than X is so much easier. I do miss the clarity of that overview now. And the foldout list feels very claustrophobic in comparison, which requires a click, then a bunch of scrolling… I’m really missing the ‘overview screen’ here.
Plus, the list consists of unassigned and assigned sites all mixed up. And the unassigned sites just display as a license code. A little confusing imho, but not horrifible. And it still has no sorting or filter options. That could be better too, if you’re introducing a redesign that’d be one of the first things to address.
On a sidenote, it’s a bit confusing to have the round X symbol for the X-Theme sites, I get it now because I see the hexagon-shape for Pro in the list as well, but usually you associate the UX element ‘circle-with-an-X’ with deleting or removing something. But that is a minor thing.
Hope this helps Thanks for asking!
If you don’t mind, I would like to comment on the new license area as well. We have lots of licenses with you all so there is a lot to scroll through (and click through) in the tiny box.
The way it was before, all of the domains were just listed down the page. I could see them all at once (since it takes up the entire browser window) and I didn’t have to click on the domains individually to see the licenses. All of the information was listed and easily accessible without having to click though domains to access it.
Thanks @skndal and @Boans! It really helps to hear that feedback. As for it feeling claustrophobic in comparison, we are having to reconcile presenting single licenses alongside several other potential options that will be available in the account. This is how we landed on the current design. Points taken on how an “overview” screen would be more helpful.
I’ve sent the team a link to this conversation so it can be part of the discussion as we seek to improve things. We’ve been reviewing customer feedback together regularly as part of this rollout. The search and filtering is currently being worked on, which I expect will make it easier to find items in your account.
Thanks again!
