Hero Header Full Width Video Background (Pro 4.0.7)

I’ve tried putting the video url in both the lower background settings for video in both the bar and the container of the hero header.

The container seems to have better settings for attempting to do full width, but I still end up with bands on the left and right side where the video doesn’t stretch into… which just looks bad.

I’ve tried every setting I can find and it is simply not obvious. You can’t add the video element to the background for a bar, so that is not even a workaround.

And other settings that let us create full-width videos UNDER the masthead work just fine… so why is putting one full-width in the masthead itself such a hard task? There are settings somewhere that seem to be getting in the way and I can’t find them.

In contrast I tested an image in the background for the bar and it instantly fills a full-width view beautifully.

There has to be a better way by now to make the video settings so the video is truly full-width without adding other plugins…

Can you please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

I’ve been trying to find other workarounds because I really need to get this done…

I went to design cloud and “installed” the Integrity Business site template because it has a full-width video header in the demo… but it seems that it is nowhere to be found…

I’ve looked everywhere for how those components can be viewed and there is no place I can find where they show up.

I installed some individual headers and content and those can be found in the templates areas to be used… but where do things go or show up when you install a “site” from the design cloud? The stack still just says Integrity… I don’t get it.

And where is the video header itself from the Integrity Business theme?.. which was the reason for installing it in the first place…

This is not intuitive and it is becoming a huge time delay.

Integrity Business demo slider video is coming from page meta. To go there please follow these steps.

1. Go to Pages
2. Click on the Edit page.
3. Scroll down and find out “Slider Settings: Above Masthead”
4. Go to “Optional Background Video” upload your video from here.
