This thread is getting out of hand and loses its original purpose and is getting really hard for us to follow all the back and forth to understand the additional requests.
Kindly open up new threads for additional questions as it will help us to focus on each issue and give you a better support which you deserve. Regarding the case you are talking about, the homepage is using the Above masthead feature and adds the Revolution Slider slide to gave the effect you see.

Is a post and the Above Masthead feature is not available for the posts. You need to change your content and have them as pages to have the option in question.
