Help with how to add aria-label to ubermenu toggle please!

Hi, I’m using Ubermenu on our site and I’ve had a Lighthouse Report done and it keeps flagging up an Accessibility issue for the Ubermenu toggle button, it says it doesn’t have an accessible name. I can’t see how I can add an aria-label attribute to it and I’m hoping you’ll be able to help me out with this please!

I’ve already done those settings prior to contacting yourselves and that was the screen grab from the Lighthouse Report afterwards. I need to be able to set the aria-label and as far as I can see there isn’t anywhere in the Ubermenu settings where I can type in what I want the attribute to be.

Hello @core365,

The aria-label is applied to the navigation and not on the button.

Regretfully the only workaround could be that you will have to edit the plugin files, find the code of the button and edit it to add the aria-label. Be advised that we do not recommend doing so as it will just be overwritten during any plugin updates. And also, this is beyond the scope of our support since this is already a modification of the features of the plugin. What we can do is add your issue as a feature request so that the creators of the Ubermenu plugin will enhance their plugin and allow its users to change or add more accessibility options to their plugin.
