Help with Blog page element

I am using the Renew Stack. On my blog page there is a bar across the top - I have no idea what it is called and I would like to change the color. It used to say “blog” and I changed that to the name of my site. But without knowing what it is called I cannot figure out how to format it.

Hello There,

Thanks for writing in!

You are referring to the Landmark header. To change the colors and other styling, please find this code in your custom css, X > Launch > Theme Options > Global CSS (http://prntscr.com/evui3r)

/*
// Landmark header.
*/

.x-header-landmark {
  padding: 45px 0;
  border-color: #e4e1d0;
  background-color: #e4e1d0;
}

.x-header-landmark h1.h-landmark {
  font-size: 200%;
  letter-spacing: 3px;
}

Feel free to change the color or font sizes.

Thank you! Is it possible to change it to an image or just edit the color and font size?

Hello There,

You cannot swap it with an image. The code provided is to adjust the color and the font size. Adding or modifying it to display an image will need custom development since we need to re code it. Unless otherwise, you simply want to add a single image which will serve as a background image. You can use this code instead:

/*
// Landmark header.
*/

.x-header-landmark {
  padding: 45px 0;
  border-color: #e4e1d0;
  background-color: #e4e1d0;
  background-image: url(https://picsum.photos/1200/600?image=1080);
  background-size: cover;
  background-position: top center;
}

.x-header-landmark h1.h-landmark {
  font-size: 200%;
  letter-spacing: 3px;
  color: white;
}

Hope this helps.

Thank you - that is helpful!

Would it be possible for me to delete the text and then use the header image from my home page in that same place? Or would that distort the image too much?

Hi there,

Unfortunately, it is not possible to replace the text with an image as my colleague mentioned in the previous reply with conventional tweaks. You will need to override the landmark section and do the customization in the PHP file. It is outside of our support scope and we will not be able to implement the functionality.

Thank you for your understanding.
