Help to understand how envira serving pictures

Hello, i would like to ask if someone can explain how envira is serving pictures based on the screen/window resolution.
What should be the picture size and evira settings, so the pictures are looking ok on standart monitors, notebooks but on retina as well?
my gallery is www.petersvancar.sk/svadobne-portrety

currently there is an issue that even if my settings are max 1024x1024 in evira settings, it is serving full sized pictures on my non retina laptop

Hi There,

I am not sure I understand your question but in order that you limit the width of your pics to 1024px you can add the following code to Theme Options CSS

.envira-gallery-wrap .envira-gallery-public .envira-gallery-item img {
    max-width: 1024px;
}
