Help Pls: Creating Subdomain Site?

Hi,

I want to copy my site/theme onto a new subdomain I’ve created but wanted to know how to do that?

I’ve already built out the main site: www.waltonmaslow.com and the subdomain I want to add is locations.waltonmaslow.com.

I’m using X 6.2.5 - any guidance on what I need to do to create this new subdomain within Cornerstone would be greatly appreciated!

Hi there,

Creating a subdomain is not part of Wordpress itself but is on the hosting side.

Most likely, you have a CPanel account. That is where you can add a subdomain.

In case you are not sure how to continue, it would be best to get in touch with your hosting provider and have them guide you on how to set it up.

Hi - sorry maybe my question wasn’t clear.

I’ve already created the subdomain on the hosting side… My question is how do I then install and use X Theme on it to build a replica of the site I’ve got on the main domain?

If you want to have a replica of main website on subdomain then the easiest option would be to migrate/copy the website from main domain to subdomain using plugins like All-in-One WP Migration.
