Help Getting started again!

Hi!

I set up a website years ago, but had a baby since and abandoned our website, but now need to set it up again!

I want to use the Xtheame as my site looked amazing last time, now the problem is I wanted to start putting content as I went along, and launch the site once I was done with the design, especially as I need to start from 0! I went on the wordpress site to upload the x-theame and get started, but the only way I can do that is by upgrading and paying $300 and that even before getting my domain name! I’m pretty sure I didn’t have to do that last time, I don’t understand how I can start designing with the xtheame without having to have a full blown domain/ professional wordpress account etc.

Can you verify what is the best way for me to start utilizing the xtheame without having to upgrade? Or how to start ‘offline’ first?

Thank you for writing in, I think the upgrading and paying $300 you’re talking about has something to do with your hosting plan, please confirm that to your host.

I see that you have one license of X and yes you can still use that on your old site or on a new site that you’ll be going to build. Just make sure you associated it with the right URL in your Manage Licenses page. Currently, the site associated with your license is not using X theme, is that your site URL? If not please update that.

You can download the latest version of X theme on the forum dashboard here, or on your ThemeForest Account Download area.

Basically, if your site is running Wordpress then it can run X or PRO theme (unless you do have a lot of plugins and eating your resources)
