On my website you’ll see a "> that apparently was one to many on some code. It has to be something to do with X because I can’t locate where this code is written.

The code showing is an opening or a closing bracket of html probably you miss to open or close an html code. Try to recall all html code that you have added then check if it is properly close or open.
