Help creating a Page with a Slider Revolution above the slide Masthead without the header just footer

When I select a slider revolution in the “Slider Settings: Above the Masthead” and select " Blank - No Container - No Header, Footer…

The “slider revolution” that I had selected does not show up after saving the page.

It will show up if I select both header and footer… But not with the configuration I just mentioned.

Is there something that I am missing? Is this possible to have this configuration? If so, why else is the slider revolution not showing up.

Hello @gybarra777,

Thanks for writing in!

Please be advised that both the Slider Settings: Above the Masthead and Slider Settings: Below the Masthead is part of the masthead of the header. When you use Blank - Container | No Header, Footer or Blank - No Container | No Header, Footer, the slider will not display. It is best that you add the slider in your page section instead. Simply edit the page in Cornerstone and then insert a section on top of all your sections. This is where you will insert the Revolution Slider element.

Hope this helps.

Thanks so much for the feedback and reply. I did exactly what you suggest and it works, but the challenge I have now is that I can’t seem to get rid of the blank space on top and bottom of the revolution slider.

It as though there is padding there but no matter what I change I cannot seem to get rid of the empty space.

Your help once again will be greatly appreciated.

Hi @gybarra777,

Yeah, that might be the default padding of the Section. Please inspect your section and zero out the top and bottom padding of it.

Or you can click the Remove Spacing option of your section, and that section will be full-width with no top and bottom padding.

If this did not get rid of the “blank space”, please provide us the direct page URL so we can take a closer look to the issue.

Thanks,

Thanks again - Removing the Spacing option helped. I then had to change the margin’s to -2. That pretty much wiped out 95% of the spacing. I can live with what’s there now.

Thanks for you help.

You’re very much welcome!
We’re glad we were able to help you out.
