Help changing Staging site from X to Pro Theme

I can not for the life of me change my staging site from X theme to pro! I have added the staging site to my account, but switching it from x theme has become a real challenge. I need help!

I am currently running Pro version 3.2.3 yes I know a new version is available, I’m just not sure if I should update now or wait til staging is setup. Thank you

Hi Mickey,

Thanks for reaching out.
I would suggest you follow the steps while updating X to Pro in the staging server.

  1. Upload the Pro through the Appearance > Themes.
  2. Deactivate and Delete the Cornerstone plugin.
  3. Activate the Pro

Hey Tristup
Thank you for the assist, but do I need to download the XCS files from the staging site? I want to save everything including the plugin’s to duplicate the live site.

You will have to migrate your live site to the staging site or vice versa.
