Height of Video background

Hello, please can you check this page? I have some trouble with the height of the video background.
The screenshots shows what I see in back-end and in front-end
Thank you!

Hi @dcheese,

Thanks for reaching out.

It could be due to broken HTML content, but I couldn’t find any even by using the validator. And when I viewed the code, it appears the background is on separate section than the content. I’m not sure how you implemented it in the builder, would you mind providing your admin login credentials in the secure note for further checking?

Thanks!

Hello Rad, this website was made with an earlier version of X, so there are some mixed elements (classic + new).
In the Wellness page (the italian one) I’ve changed the video section by using the new element. But as you can see the problem is on every page. Thank you for your help

Hello @dcheese,

I have logged in to your account and saved the page as a template. I imported in my local testing server and then load it into my new page. I am seeing any errors as shown below:

I am not sure if the error is because of a broken html, caching issue or a conflict. I was trying to create a test page in your site and load the template. I failed because I could not create a new page in your site. It seems that there are several JS errors on the page which maybe the cause of the issue. Could you please make sure that every thing is up to date. When I check your Dashboard > Updates section, there are updates that needed to be applied. Please update all plugins first so that we can continue to investigate.

Thank you in advance.

Thanks, I updated the plugins, only wordpress remains to be updated. Could you continue to investigate?

Hello @dcheese,

In my local testing server, I could not see any issues and the template loads perfectly showing the background video. In your site, no matter what I do, I could not create a new page. I am trying to create a new page and will edit it in Cornerstone. I wanted to load the saved Wellness page as template and see if it will have the same results. When I save or publish a new page I am getting this error:

Please create a new page, edit it in Cornerstone and load the saved “Wellness” template so that we can compare it.

Thank you in advance.

Done, but the problem persists :disappointed_relieved:

Hi @dcheese,

There are some HTML syntax errors in your accordion elements:

Please open the Console Log of Google Chrome browser and correct them.

You may need to this online tool: https://htmlhint.io/

Let us know how it goes!

Ok, in the meantime, I’ve seen these errors while you was working on the website…

Hi @dcheese,

Please clear cache and then check again. I don’t see that error right now. The error I am seeing is related to third party script:

<script src="https://be.bookingexpert.it/book/websites/searchbox?hotel=15008&amp;lang=it" class="ginger-script" type="text/plain"></script><script>it.bookingexpert.SearchBox.load('searchbox', 'Default');</script>

The error is:

(index):501 Uncaught ReferenceError: it is not defined
    at (index):501

Please check in with the provider of the script/code.

Lely the problem is the height of videos background… have you see it?

Problem solved! It was the Ginger Cookie plugin that created a conflict. Turning it off the problem is gone. Thank you very much for helping!

Glad to hear that.
