Headline style defined in the theme options won't get applied

Hi there,

I’m still struggeling to understand how some of the theme features work. I set the styling for headlines in the theme options (color/font) but when I use an Headline element in the editor, it gets an “x-text-content-text-primary” class applied which prevents the before mentioned styling options to show up. If I delete the class, the headline gets the proper color, font and size that were defined in the theme options. I know I can overwrite the settings in the customizer, but what is the point of the theme options Typography page when in the end the builder overwrites the before set values?

Hi there,

The settings that you set for the Typography settings in the Theme Options panel are applied to the Classic elements such as the Classic Headline elements.

As for the V2 elements such as the Headline element, the styling that is set to the element will be given priority.
