Hi @logoglo,
Thanks for reaching out.
I check your website and you already set a letter spacing on your headlines and the letter spacing is set to -1px. What do you mean by it is not working? Please let us know.
Thank you.
I havnt set the spacing, I tried in the customizer, as per the screenshot, ie, I ramped it up to max spacing just to show you how its not having any effect on my headlines…the only styling I have is color, so I dont know where that spacing is, it should be controlled in the customizer right?
Hi @logoglo,
The value set in the Theme Options > Typography always overrides the predefined CSS values.
As per your first screenshot, the value set to 0.5 and that is not reflecting into your site.
Now on the second screenshot, we found that you are using the WPBakery Page builder, which may be the reason for it.
Before we come to a conclusion and able to comment on this, we need to examine your site thoroughly.
Hope you will not mind sharing your website credentials.

Secure note added. Yeah I do use visual baker, but I use this on all my other sites using xtheme, this is the 1st time its doing this. Thanks for your help
Hey @logoglo,
I checked your setup and I see you’re using Custom Headline element in WP Bakery page builder, it’s letter-spacing property is being overridden by theme style. To avoid this issue, please use Custom Heading element Instead.

Let us know how this goes!
OK, that worked, is this a new thing? I have ALWAYS used the custom headline in WP Bakery, on all my sites where I use theme X and there has never been this issue.
Hi @logoglo,
Great it works for you. The element was there in WP Bakery previously may be it conflicted with the updated classes.
Thanks.
