Hi,
when I load my posts the headline is changing the font.
At first it is rather bold and compressed, then it becomes font-family: “Roboto Slab”,serif.
What causes this switch? Why is the headline not loaded in Roboto Slab right away? And how can I change this?

Thanks for writing in! This issue could be caused by a cache plugin or your RocketCDN. Please clear all your plugin caches and temporarily deactivate the cache while we are troubleshooting. A 3rd party plugin could also be the cause of the issue amongst other things. Please check out the most common issues:

Independent of a caching plugin - why does the font change in the headline? What can be the reason for that? For example, there is no change to the text in the content. So what can be the diffference in the headline?

The Post title is using Roboto font which is a Google Font that needs to be loaded first. Meanwhile, the rest of the elements of the page is using “Helvertica, Arial” which is a System font residing in a user’s computer. Please go to the Font Manager and set the “Font Display” option:
