.masthead.masthead
{
         margin:5px 0;
         margin-bottom:0px;
         border: 5!important;
	 box-shadow: 0 8px 3px 0 rgba(0, 0, 0, 0), 0.1px 1px 0 rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.01);
         border-bottom:20px solid rgba(0,0,0,0.05);
}

And it kind of is doing what im looking for, i want the effect of this sites homepage http://roaring.earth/

I am almost there, i just cant figure out how to setup the code that im using. I am going for the gradience under the header.
