Does the subheadline text in the Headline element support html? When I’ve added html, it seems to be stripped out.

Here is the Headline element, with both the image (picture) and subheadline turned on.
I’ve added an unordered list as well as “bold”. You can see in the preview that the bold nor the list render. If I inspect the text in Chrome, I do not see HTML either.

Sorry for the confusion. Your initial assessment of the case is true. Our Subheading functionality of the Headline element does not support additional HTML. The whole subheader is wrapped into a span tag with the class of x-text-content-text-subheadline.
