Headline element setup; Base Font Size & Tag

Hello,

I am wondering how to configure the headline, since some properties are just not reacting as I expect.
What is the purpose of the Base Font Size & Tag, specialy the “h1”, if this is just not taking over the standard setup.

Hey Frank,

The Base Font Size option’s purpose is to simultaneously increase or decrease the text size within the element. In the case of the Headline element, you have the Primary, Subheadline and the Graphic Icon.

The Tag is commonly used for SEO purposes. It does not change the appearance.

Hi Christian, thanks that clarified the headline.

Still one question, if I have applied a configuration to H1 to H6 in the theme options, where would I use it in the headline element? In the classic headline it was obviuous. Where do I find it in the new headline?

Hi Frank,

The new headline element has own styling under Text tab:

So the settings that you set for the Typography settings in the Theme Options panel are applied to the Classic elements such as the Classic Headline elements.
