Heading Styles Not Updating

Hi,

I have a staging site located you can get to here…

The headline in the banner that says, “Rodeo Time In Coleman” is not taking my font style of “Alfa Slab One”. It looks like it’s taking all the styles it previously had, and I have no idea how those styles are getting there.

I’ve checked every container and element’s custom css, and I can’t find it anywhere, yet it still appears in my dev console.

Also, no matter how many containers or elements I set to “flex-start” it does not seem to want to actually do that. I’d like the text to be more aligned with the box at the top left.

If you need to log in as an admin, I can / probably will leave those credentials in a private note.

Hello Gregory,

I tried to check the site that you have linked. However, it seems to be inaccessible:

Would you mind double checking so that we can look into it.

Thank you.

@jade

You have to use the username and password I provided. I should also note that because of issues with Flywheel’s Staging service, you have to use https:// rather than http://, click Advanced, and then click proceed to site.

If you don’t, the images have a hard time showing up.

Okay, I can’t wait any longer.

I’m going to force this to work with some css, but I’d still like to know why my header element isn’t taking the Headings font like I’m telling it to, and why I can’t get it to line up on the left side of the screen.

By the time you look at it I’ll probably have it doing that, but only because I know CSS and can work around when the theme doesn’t work like it should.

Feel free to poke around and see if you can figure out what’s going wrong.

Thanks @jade

Hello @gregorylmartin,

You headline text, “Rodeo Time In Coleman”, is using the Headings font which is Helvetica.

You will need to add “Alfa Slab One” into the font manager so that you can easily assign it to your elements like the headline text.

Please check out this documentation to know more about the Font manager and how you can add your custom fonts to be used to your elements on the page.

We would love to know if this has worked for you. Thank you.
