I read in the forum that it is not possible to restore a header. Is it possible to restore the state of the entire website from the previous day? That would really help me.

Yes, it’s not possible to restore a header. For your whole site, you essentially need to restore from a backup. Web hosts usually have this feature so please ask the web host support.
If your web host doesn’t have a backup of your site, regretfully, there’s no way to restore your site.
