Header with sticky bars problem

I’ve created a header for a new website, chavarriaoptics.com, with two sticky bars. However, every time you click on a menu item or change the page, the header reloads and moves all the bars. How can I fix the header so that it only loads once while you navigate through all the pages?
(if you want to check the page, need the password “CHAVA2023” for the under construction plugin)

Thank you in advance

Hi Ramón,

Thanks for reaching out.
I have checked your website and found the problem you described here. To recognize the reason behind it, we need to investigate the settings you made in the Header. I would suggest you please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

Thanks

in the firts post i wrote de info you need in the secure note. Thank you

you have the credentials in the first post. Thank you.

Turning off the transitions in the “Effects” tab can remove this jumping. Instead of the two bars sandwiching that 3rd bar, I would style the 3rd bar with some padding and borders instead too and remove the other bars. It’ll work better that way. Let us know if this helps and have a great day!

Thank you, @charlie . I’ve followed your instructions and removed the bars with the line elements and styled the menu bar. It now loads better. What I can’t find is where to deactivate the effects. Anyway, the webpage still loads the header and menu every time I switch pages, and I’d like it to load only once at the beginning, like in the default menu headers. How can I achieve that? Thank you very much.

Looking great. Turning off effects can be done in the Effects tab and setting the duration to 0. I’m not 100% sure I know what you mean by the menu loading every page. As in you want this website to only load once and make this like a single page app for the content? This site is small enough you could probably use Tabs for the majority of this main content. You might need another plugin though currently for something dynamic like that everywhere on your site. Let me know if this helps and have a great day!

Thank you for your help, @charlie. I have verified that I do not have active effects in the header. On the other hand, when I mention that the menu always reloads when you visit another menu link, I mean that when you use a default header with the menu and header provided by the Renew, Integrity, etc. templates, that doesn’t happen. The menu and the header remains static without reloading when you switch pages. It stays in place without moving or flickering when loading a new page. In contrast, the header and menu I have created from scratch reload every time you click on any menu section. I don’t know if I’ve explained myself well. I want it to behave like the default menu of any theme template. Thank you.

Hi Ramón,

I have just checked your website and didn’t find the issue anymore. If you are still facing the same, I would suggest you check once by clearing all types of cache including the System Cache from Cornerstone > Settings > System > Clear System Cache and check in the incognito/private mode of the browser.

Please let us know if that does not help.
Thanks
