Header video won't loop

Hello,
I have changed my header video, but I can’t get it to loop. It’s currently a background layer. The video that I previously had in my header loops successfully, but not this new one. Here’s what I’ve done:

Confirm that it was set to loop and loops successfully when viewing the video separately.
Confirm that the header layer is set to loop.

The new video is m4v (also tried mov with the same result). The old video is mp4. Could that be the reason that it’s not looping? If not, do you have any other suggestions?

Please convert your video to *.mp4. This is the only format that is compatible with most browser.
