Header Translation

I need help,

I use the PRO theme and I am unable to translate the header to different languages. It is a header made to measure with the editor and I do not see how to modify it so that the translation is correct in each language. Now it only appears in Spanish.

I’ve been looking for hours on the internet for hours and I’ve seen several post on how to do it with WPML but the header does not appear anywhere. I have also read that this issue gives problems or I gave them with WPML.

Can you help me?

Hello There,

Thanks for writing in! Before you can translate the headers and the footers, please go to WPML > Translation Management > Multilingual Content Setup > Post Types Translation, and enable cs_header and cs_footer. After it is enabled, you should be able to edit the custom header/footer in different language just like how you translate the post/page contents.

For further information, please check out this thread: https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/translate-pro-header-custom-buttons/260875

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the help. I have already found the parameters cd_header and cs_footer. When I activate them and keep the change, I go to other sections and when I return again I find that they are deactivated again.

At the top of this section comes a warning and I do not know how to fix it:

You have not set your sync preferences for these custom posts: Custom CSS, Change Groups, Answers or Embedded, User Requests, WPForms, Entries, Global Blocks, Entries, WPForms Logs, exact-metrics Announcements, The Grid, Locations, Testimonials, Order, Product, Pro Headers, Pro Footers, Envira Galleries. The default value was selected.

Where can I change these “synchronization preferences”?

Hi @Fernandez_Sanza

Sounds like there is a JS error on your site preventing the plugin from saving its settings correctly. I suggest doing a plugin conflict test, this can be done by deactivating other plugins other than WPML, then recheck this issue if everything went alright, then you can re-enable the plugins one by one till you figure out the culprit.

Alternatively, you might want to use “Health Check” plugin and enable “Troubleshooting mode”. The good thing about “Heath Check” plugin is that it’s developed by WordPress team and it only affects your logged in session so that other visitors won’t be affected.

If this didn’t help, then please provide us with WordPress Dashboard login details in a “Secure Note” so we can investigate this issue.

Thanks.

Hi @Fernandez_Sanza,
