Header Template vs Copy

Is there a fundamental difference between saving a header as a template, then creating a new header from that template, versus just copying the header you want to duplicate?

It seems to me that doing either these things would give you the same result. Am I missing something?

You are right both will give same result but saving as template having more advance feature like you can download and use it in other website or installation.
