Hello Geoff,
Thanks for reaching out.
I checked the website and in dev tools I see bunch of 404 error messages related with images. Further checking the source code I see that images are added. It’s most likely that images from media library are deleted.
Please note that when you delete an image in Media Library, it does not automatically remove/update elements in your pages that refers to that image. You will need to remove/update that manually.

Thanks.
Thanks for the response.
We didn’t delete any of the images and when you click on the post to read them, the featured image is there, it just doesn’t show on the home page. How do we update if the image isn’t really deleted?
Hello Geoff,
I have checked your site and I found out that you have installed WP Super Cache and Jetpack plugins.
Since you have installed a caching plugin WP Super Cache, please clear your plugin cache before testing your site. This can cause the changes to not take place on the front end. It will eventually show up when the cache regenerates, but it’s not ideal if you’re looking to see your changes immediately. Caching plugins are best to turn on only when you’ve finished building the site.
With Jetpack, in most cases the images is not displaying because Site Accelerator module is enabled. This module will cached all your images and sometimes it has some problems loading the images. One of the limitations of this module:
If you want to “refresh” an image you will need to change the name of the image.
Adding random query arguments, commonly known as cachebusters, will not work.```
For further information, you can check it here: https://jetpack.com/support/site-accelerator/
For the time being, please disable Site Accelerator module and test your site again.
Thank you for the clairificaiton.
Just a follow up question. With the Site Accelerator off, and the Super Cache cleared, everything is working again. However, you are saying that if we enable the Site Accelerator again, it will likely cause the same problem unless we change the name of the images. Is this correct?
Thanks again,
Hello Geoff,
Because of the limitations of the Site Accelerator, it will always give your some issues later on. You may able to enabled it back but sooner or later you will encounter the same issues again. Just be aware that when it does, you can simply turn it off and clear the plugin caches.
Hope this helps.
