Header Menus

I’ve seen some forum topics related to this but most are over 5 years old.

I’d like to build a header similar to the default header in Pro Theme.

The footer I’ve created so far is the wide monitor view with normal navigation.

But, checking other screen sizes it doesn’t breakdown to the hamburger menu / collapsed menu.

Is this a breakpoints thing? A conditional thing? Combination?

Is there a ThemeCo YouTube video tutorial that deals with this?

The current videos concerning Headers don’t seem to cover this unless there’s one I just missed.

Hello Chad,

Thank you for the inquiry.

Navigation elements, such as the Navigation Inline element, will not automatically switch to a hamburger or mobile menu. They will resize correctly, but if you need to display a different type of menu, such as a modal navigation or dropdown, you have to insert another navigation element, such as Navigation Modal or MegaMenu Modal. You can then control the visibility of both navigations using the Customize > Hide During Breakpoint options as shown in the screenshot below.
